Disability Consumer Council – Seeking Expressions of Interest

Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) have launched expressions of interest to become part of their first ever Disability Consumer Council.

The Disability Consumer Council is a new initiative aimed at helping people with disability have their say about improvements and changes in our hospitals and health centres.

They are looking for 10 people with a lived experience of disability, and 4 people who are carers or support people with a disability to join the NBMLHD Disability Consumer Council.

You can read more about the initiative using the link below as well as download the expression of interest form.

Easy read resources and interpreter support are available.

Applications to join close 10 January 2022.
